Learn how to hit a ball, run bases, and kick a ball. Volunteer coaches needed. Spartan Field FEE: $30.00 Resident $35.00 Non-Resident (includes a T-shirt) NOTE: 6 year olds with experience may choose Underhand Pitch instead of T-Ball. These little “leaguers” will be taught basic fundamentals of softball and baseball in a relaxed atmosphere. A rubber Tee for batting will be used throughout this program. Volunteer coaches needed. Registration closes 4/9.* Minimum Participants: 36 Maximum Participants: Open UNDERHAND PITCH LEAGUE DATES: Tuesdays & Thursdays May 4-June 15 TIME: 6:30-7:30 p.m. (games will be played twice weekly) AGES: 6-8 years (girls & boys) SITE: M.E.H.S. Spartan Field FEE: $30.00 Resident $35.00 Non-Resident (includes a T-shirt) This league is for children skilled enough to hit an underhand pitched ball. Coaches or parents will pitch as well as provide instruction in skill areas. No metal cleats or spikes. Volunteer coaches needed. Registration closes 4/9.* Minimum Participants 36 Maximum Participants: Open SPRING SOCCER LEAGUE DATES: Saturdays, May 1-June 19 TIME: 5-6 years (girls & boys) & 9:00-10:40 a.m. (rotating times) AGES: 7-8 years (girls & boys) 11:00-12:50 p.m. (rotating times) 9-10 years (girls & boys) 9:00-11:15 a.m. (rotating times) 11-12 years (girls & boys) 11:30-1:45 p.m. (rotating times) SITE: Struble Sports Complex FEE: $30.00 Resident $35.00 Non-Resident (includes T-shirt) This is a non-competitive, recreational soccer league. Games are scheduled every hour. Fundamental skills and basics will be taught. Volunteer coaches needed. Registration closes 4/9.* If we do not meet the minimum requirement for specific age group, instead of cancelling a program, we will merge age groups.
